Geschichte

The Gimhae Kim clan traces its origin to King Suro, the legendary founder of the Geumgwan Gaya kingdom in 42 AD. According to the Samguk Yusa, Suro descended from the sky in a golden egg on Guji Peak. This is the largest clan in Korea by population.
