Geschichte

The Nampyeong Moon clan was founded by Mun Da-seong, a Silla official who settled in the Nampyeong area of Jeolla Province. This is the dominant Moon clan in Korea. The clan produced many scholars and is noted for its strong literary and academic traditions.
