Geschichte

The Sunheung Ahn clan was established by An Ja-mi, a Goryeo official who was enfeoffed in the Sunheung area of Gyeongsang Province. The clan is the largest Ahn lineage and includes An Hyang, the scholar who first introduced Neo-Confucianism to Korea from Yuan China.
