기원 및 역사

Quách is the Sino-Vietnamese form of 郭 (Guō), meaning 'outer city wall' and associated with the ancient Guo state of the Zhou Dynasty. The surname arrived in Vietnam through Chinese immigration and cultural diffusion during the first millennium AD. It is found across Vietnam with notable concentrations in southern regions, particularly among Hoa communities.
