História

The Gyeongju Lee clan claims descent from Yi Al-pyeong, one of the six village chiefs who welcomed Bak Hyeokgeose as the first ruler of Silla. As one of the original six clans of Silla, this lineage predates most Korean clan histories and is deeply rooted in Gyeongju aristocracy.
