Origen e historia

The Wang surname is the most common in China, derived from the ancient Chinese word for 'king' (王). Many Wang families claim descent from the Zhou Dynasty royal family, particularly from Bi Gan, a prince of the Shang Dynasty. The surname spread widely during the Han Dynasty and became one of the most prestigious lineages in Chinese history.
