Ono

起源与历史

Ono means 'small field' or 'small plain' (小野) and is one of Japan's oldest surnames, associated with the ancient Ono clan that appears in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki. The Ono clan served the imperial court in Yamato and were noted for their poetic and artistic lineage — the poet Ono no Komachi is one of the Thirty-six Poetry Immortals. The name is found throughout Japan, with concentration in Fukushima, Hyogo, and Okayama prefectures.
