Lakshmi

Lakshmi derives from the Sanskrit 'lakṣmī', related to 'lakṣa' (aim, sign, mark) and also interpreted as 'she who brings good fortune'. Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess of wealth, prosperity, beauty, and grace, the consort of Lord Vishnu and one of the most widely venerated goddesses in the Indian tradition. Her name is synonymous with abundance and auspiciousness. It is one of the most traditional and enduring female names across South India, Maharashtra, and all Vaishnavite communities.
