由来と歴史

The Jwa surname is associated with the Cheongju Jwa clan. The character 左 (left) is one of Korea’s rarest directional surnames. Jwa ancestors appear in Joseon-era clan records in the North Chungcheong Province region and the surname has remained very small in population.
